Galician born Gony Zubizarreta has a name that makes few Spanish matadors go green with envy, eyes that stir women's blood and, first and foremost, everything that characterizes a young and ascending surfer nowadays: style and a whole lot of skills on the water. The qualities of the Galician youngster have convinced the judges of the World Qualifying Series many a time, but he himself doesn't feel where he wants to be Ð namely on the top rung: "The WQS is a really hard tour. Everybody is ripping and therefore you have to be strong in your mind." Due to his perfect aptitudes, we are pretty sure that Gony will not only boost the Planet Sports Surf team as a new team member, but also spread a breath of fresh Spanish air at the WCT Tour.
