To cause a stir as a European skater in the North American home country of the sport is pretty difficult. To attain a pro status in the other side of the pond even more.

Chris Pfanner from Bregenz (Austria) even takes it to the next stage with his new acquired Pro Model Deck at Anti Hero Skateboards. Chris has the honour of riding for a company like Anti Hero - a company well known for being so picky about new riders that it almost resembles a secret society. This honour is the result of hard work: For a few years now, the likeable Austrian has been baffling the crowd with the hardest tricks, catching everyone's eye at all contests and leaving us all regularly open-mouthed with clips and pictures.

Chris "the Pfanman" Pfanner's love and dedication for skateboarding are winning him slowly but surely the laurels he deserves; he is a pro rider for Anti Hero, Vans and Volcom - and the declared darling of the verenerable Trasher Magazine. We at Planet Sports join the ranks and welcome Chris as the newest member of the exquisite Planet Sports Skate Pro team. We are looking forward to working with the ripper of Lake Constance and wish him ongoing success on his way to the top.

German skaters who have managed to make themselves a name on the other side of the pond can almost be counted with one hand. Therefore we are happily proud to welcome one of them to our team.

Alex has not only occupied the first place at the "Etnies European Championships 2006", but also won against no other than Chris Cole at the "éS Game of S.K.A.T.E. 2006" and took part at the "Battle at the Berrics IV". For this reason is a permanent candidate in all kinds of skateboard media and has always a lovely smile on his face. Yes, we are talking just about Alex, from Rastatt to the World, Mizurov.

Welcome to the team!

Niklas Speer von Cappeln, a rare and well-sounding name that hasn´t been heard for the first time in the German skateboard scene. As flashy as Niklas name is his style, which is repeatedly described as "fluffy". Whoever admired the young Hamburg on his board understands exactly what this description means. He tricks namely with such ease that when touching the ground under his feet almost seems to literally float across parquet. Away from the skateboard circus stands with both feet on earth, and responds to his extraordinary talent with a more sober modesty. So it happens that Niklas is always and everywhere welcome.

Es gibt Skateboarder bei denen man sich zurücklehnt und ihnen einfach nur gerne beim Fahren zusieht. Michi Mackrodt ist genau einer von dieser Sorte, denn sobald der Wahlberliner an einem Spot auftaucht, richten sich die Augen aller Anwesenden dank seiner unnachahmlichen Leichtfüßigkeit schnell auf ihn. Es sind nämlich nicht die beste Contestbilanz oder die größte Trickpalette, welche Außenstehende an einem herausragenden Brettsportler begeistern, sondern vielmehr das Talent der ganzen Sache eine gewisse Leichtigkeit zu verleihen. Genau diese besondere Gabe wurde Michi scheinbar in die rollende Wiege gelegt, denn sobald er auf sein Brett steigt, scheint er über den Asphalt zu schweben und Obstacles mit seinen Achsen sanft zu streicheln. Aus diesem Grund sind wir glücklich, dass dieser Stilist von nun an das Planet Sports Skate Team verstärkt und wir ihm deshalb in der Zukunft ganz oft beim Skaten zusehen dürfen!
