Jake Burton Carpenter founded 1977 in the US
the snowboard brand Burton and hence became
the pioneer of that sport, which was until
then almost non-existent.A milestone for the
European snowboard sport wasset with the
foundation of the Burton European headquarters
in Innsbruck 1985. As the worldwide market
leader for snowboards and snowboard
equipment, Burton supports numerous team
drivers, who range from newcomers to
international pros. Snowboard legends
like Peter Bauer and Jean Nerva
became internationally known with
Burton equipment. Burton team drivers
like Hannah Teter und Shaun White
already won Olympic gold medals.
Burton knows what snowboarders need
-from equipment to outer- or streetwear
and accessories.
